It's because Allam apologists who try to deflect attention away from their ****wittery, by attempting to blame others, get on my tits.

Firstly, I'm not an Allam apologist as some on here maintain. I've consistently said that we've had better owners and worse owners in my time supporting the team.
Secondly, are you seriously maintaining that the protest group have had no part to play in the escalation to the current situation?

You've spent a couple of years making excuses for their ****e and you're still trying to blame others, the current situation is entirely the fault of the Allams.

No it's not, they shot themselves in the foot with it, as 1904 was inspirational during match protests; they didn't have the football nous to understand that, but we should.
I'm afraid it is to many, whether you like it or not
I do understand what you're saying, but unfortunately it was just another knife in the back of the club's name.
I rarely buy anything from the club shop anyway to be honest, so maybe I'm not the best judge, but I do often have things bought for me at Xmas for example. All those who might do that know very well not to buy anything with that badge on, and therefore I haven't had anything since ( which is fine by me)
I've got no problem with using 1904 on a badge by the way, and from a design point of view alone I don't mind the current one actually (apart from the odd spacing) and I agree that the 19.04 chants meant it has other significance too, BUT that badge needs changing because it is a symbol of a regime that wanted to purge the name Hull City from game.
Tainted, whether it's a shame or not

Personally I think badge is fine as it is. We haven't always had Hull City AFC The Tigers on it and although I would like to see a return of the last badge, in the grand scheme of things, I think we have to move forward and should look at another design completely.

Of all the things likely to be changed, the shirt badge is possibly one of the last that will happen anyway.

I don't think anyone is expecting an immediate change, I wouldn't have thought anything would / could be done until next season, and quite rightly
But the point is that you would hope a new owner would be sensitive to the views of fans, and they would consider changing it because of the things it symbolises (and it would make marketing sense too...look at my CV!)

No I haven't and no it isn't.

So you're always saying both parties (allams and anti-allams fans) are equally to blame for the current situation. However, this whole debacle didn't just materialise out of thin air. It had to have a beginning. Go back to the beginning and someone must surely be solely to blame for the whole sorry situation?

So, sounds like a childish question but, in your opinion, who started all of this:

The Allams
The Fans

?

Also, which party has refused to have open dialogue with anybody else relating to the club or the city:

The Allams
The Fans

?

Who do you blame for Hull City fans protesting with chants and red cards against owners who claim they are irrelevant, hooligans and can die when they want:

The Allams
The fans

?

I know who's solely to blame. What says you?

The council are more to blame than anyone else. One man in particular.

That's a view, of course.

But what do you do when you feel slighted by the council but have full backing of the fans?

You don't alienate those fans who had done nothing wrong. You keep them onside and go from there together.

Allam's contempt for the fans may well have been hcc's get out of jail free card...

I've already said that the protest group and the Allams are equally to blame for the escalation. Neither is solely to blame.
