I doubt King Chazz knows who Aboubakar is so fairly ripe to call your comment ridiculous, I'd love to see somebody like him at City. The likes of Hernandez and Diame did go missing for long periods of last season so who is to say that won't happen again
True... but different manager different tactics might offer him the service he has been largely missing for so long.
I'd probably sooner keep him but if he was sold it might not be the worst thing in the world, not really convinced either way. Aboubakar is certainly a decent replacement so nothing wrong with Sterlings suggestion
Have to agree, that Aboukbakar might be good on Fifa or something but hernandez score more goals last season than he has in the last 2
He hasn't got a release clause. According to the Villa chairman who tweeted on Twitter when they were interested. So Villa must have made contact.
If you don't know who Vincent Aboubakar is, watch some ****ing football. There is football outside of the UK, you know. Some of you lot are like the people from Gilberdyke. "They come from the lands of beyond, they bring disease and technology! Burn them!" ****ing hell, stick BT Sport on and watch some European football.
He's notoriously **** at it. The reference would've worked if you'd said Football Manager. No **** worth their salt uses FIFA to judge how good players are.
It's just a thing from that area, people from Gilberdyke are generally viewed as the folks from the Hills Have Eyes (they aren't actually, there are some decent folk). It might be a bit of South Cave snobbery, but back in the day if you were from Gilberdyke they used to stitch an extra finger onto your gloves at school.
It's snobbery that's for sure, but I wouldn't call it South Cave snobbery, I know some really nice people who live there. It's just plain snobbery.
With Hernandez, better the devil you know in my book, and in Hernandez we know we have a good finisher. We have enough going on without trying to sort out the mess that selling our star striker would bring, regardless of whether it was £20m or whatever that he went for- the club is seen as a basket case already- what sort of signals would that send to the rest of the squad and other players that we may (or may not) be after?
