I know they're losing, but Sunderland are playing pretty well. I think it will be a really tough game next weekend!
Although on the flip side, they could be left with hardly any CBs if O'Shea's injury rules him out, Kone remains on strike or "injured" (or has left for Everton), and they haven't signed a replacement for Kaboul.
Maybe through reading, experiences, meeting people, and travel you'll learn to stop the Spurs love-in!
Also, why did he not get picked up on these Tweets at any point earlier? He was still a high-profile footballer in those years too. Though I am 100% opposed to those views, and personally doubt his views have really changed, if society felt it was OK to ignore them then - including when he was the Championship top scorer and Player of the Year - then I'm not sure why he gets them piled on him here now. I think it is society and the media to blame here. I guess his accusations of racism against himself dug these back out, but still, no one comes off well here, including Burnley FC.
Fair play Negredo. Did the good work so that he could have shot himself, but just ensures that they do score by rolling it across. On paper, this Sunderland back four looks dreadful. And on the pitch too.
Yeah, I thought they'd do well. Some really good signings, really nice style. So much technical ability in there for a newly promoted side.
Yeah they don't look like they will slip up (like Norwich last year for example). Still think Guzan is terrible though.
Should have gone for the Joleon Lescott defence - but multiple homophobic pocket texts instead of just the one Instagram post of a million pound supercar.
I guess they Tweet old classic goals - maybe one every day? It was more than goal of any weekend, by the way - was 2009's goal of the season. (Did you forget that Wigan (even were Figeroa still playing for them) and Stoke weren't even in the same league anymore? Would have been even more impressive if he had put one into the back of Stoke's net this weekend from where he plays now - Dallas, USA.)
Pretty clear that suggesting anyone - whatever gender, colour, religion, race etc. - should burn and die is wrong. However you're brought up.
Doesn't make it right though. It's like when people use religion as a excuse of hating gays/blacks etc. When really it is them that is the racist homophobe ****.
