And there was talk of a second yellow for him for a dive today as well. Well, not for him obviously, but for a player from a different team doing the same thing.
Great news for my fantasy team: Bellerin and Fuchs both keep a clean sheet. Not sure if that makes up for everyone else in my team conspiring to be ****e, though...
If you have the Leicester front 4-5 in your fantasy team, you must already be 600 pts in the lead after two games. <most attackingest club in the world>
For the 2nd week running, Costa wins a game for the Chavs when he should have not been on the pitch. The most blatant of dives goes unpunished for a serial cheat already on a yellow. Conspiracy theorists will continue to have a field day all the while officials turn in performances like this.
Who gives a ****, should be on shouldn't be on makes no difference. The fact is he was on and as such had to be dealt with, he wasn't and scored.
I hate to say this but.......could our new center forward have a touch of the Soldado's? He runs about a lot and....misses. Scored a lot in Holland as Soldado did in Spain.........gosh!I hope I'm wrong.PLEASE LET ME BE WRONG!!!! Not so Fancy now,eh?
"Toxic Thunder" is also the best way to describe the noise emitted by Scousers when they lose 2-0 to Burnley.
Admittedly I didn't watch MOTD last night so I haven't seen whether Costa should have gone. It absolutely should make a difference though. If one player is allowed to play by different rules to everyone else it's unfair.
That was my comment following the first round of games and it really shouldn't be applicable to the second, too. The failure to send him off in the first game has effectively gifted Chelsea a load of points. That he also should've gone in the second game is simply adding insult to injury. How anyone can say that it doesn't matter is beyond me. We've still got Dembele seeing out a ban in from yet another game in which Costa should've gone, yet he's still unpunished. That's not an even playing field and that's the least that we should be able to expect from a very well funded sport.
I suspect that one of our PL games against Chelsky will be 10 vs 10. Wanyama "taking one for the team" to get Costa off is my gut feeling.
Costa already had a yellow for mouthing off. He then took as blatant a dive as you're likely to see, right in front of the ref's face, virtually. He should have walked! But, once again, he got away with it!....
