It's extreme but it will put him in the position where he need to change his attitude just to save his career.

Though cashing in and letting him be somebody elses problem would probably be more sensible

Moyes has said his piece, which is fine but I think it`s time to get rid.

He`s been poisoned for us now beyond the point of reconciliation. He doesn`t want to be here, he doesn`t want to play for us and appears to be making any excuse not to.

I would agree to cashing in. £20m though, none of this Kaboul type giveaway nonsense.

Don't think we will, I think once the window is closed he will knuckle down and play then start winging again in January but by then we should have linked up a replacement..

    Good point.

You thinking keep him in the shop window?

He`ll need his bad back to get better soon then.

I think he's kinda ****ed up with the back thing how could he pass a medical if he has a bad back?

Hope we dig our heels in and keep him, play him till January as he's still a big player for us and if his attitude has change who knows he signs a new contract or we sell and replace him.

    Win win

The trouble is how are our fans going to react to him, if and when he does take to the field again in a Sunderland shirt?

I for one am bloody fuming about his petulant behaviour :emoticon-0121-angry

Again didn't really notice anything at the city game, well on tv anyway.

To boo our own players is pathetic tho nothing gained by doing that.

I wouldn't. I'd make him train with the U'21s, shower when the heating's turned off and make him park at Asda's.

Yes it is. I have never booed a player or the team ever and can't understand people who do, but I'm sure that most of us have witnessed it at some time.

    "Pathetic" is spot on Smithy

Partly agree but these ****ers deserve stick. These are mercenary bast Ards and it's about time we showed our feelings even if it means a short term dip in results. The way it's going these ****ers are going to destroy the game. Let's speak up for something different

That 'twinge' in his back would soon recover before any medical.

There's 3 and a half years left on his contract. He's on a '****' wage apparently, for what sound's like pin-money compared to what others earn.

The club holds all the cards as far as I can see. So **** him, tow the line or play with the kids.

He was happy enough with his wages 6 months ago.

The thing is, we have no idea what his wages are, what he was asking for, what he was promised or what he was offered.

We have no info at all.

I still think his agent`s a pissflap mind.

There was something on here about his wages a few weeks ago, about how low his wage was. Can't remember the figure quoted, though it was low, or the source but supposedly reliable?

If We let him go in this window we will only get offers well below the 18 Everton are supposed to have put up for him.
Clubs knowing he's acting the twat to engineer a move will never offer our asking price.
Therefore if we can't get a decent offer he sees out his contract either in the first team or the under 23s.

Logic say's he ain't on much. Low fee, Hardly a superstar, a risk with him not knowing the league. It's why I wouldn't put it past the club to be the ones taking the piss here with a low contract offer.

Must admit I`m beginning to think that.

That and M`Vila. Looking like a Scrooge of a club
