It's more trepidation than excitement, my wife and all her family are from Boro, so expecting some piss taking if the worse happens, but excitement is probably -10 right now, pretty sure it will start to build tomorrow though.

On an excitement scale of 1 - 10 where are you?

I`m on about 3 atm. Can`t seem to get fired up at all. Not good, don`t like it.

Yeah I'm with you but it's just a fear of looking beat or threadbare tomorrow. If we go on to win in style then I'll be a lot more optimistic but on the other hand a good sound beating might wake the transfer team up a bit!!!

You'll be safe. I can't see anything but a Sunderland win. Every new manager loses their first match but wins the second (a derby) anyway.

About as excited as a person whose about to find out their sexual health test results. Slightly nervous but utterly deflated.

Well, I for one am buzzing for it. :1980_boogie_down:
First home game of the the season and a full house.... What's not to be excited about:emoticon-0148-yes:

It`s probably just the recent negatives getting through mate.

Likely pick up in the morning. Then there`s the team sheet which will either be `yeah, that looks promising` or `wtf is that ****e`

Kick off time I`ll be hyper again. <laugh>

Easier said than done BUT try to avoid the teamsheet and just cheer on the red'n'white shirts ?!?

I am totally disinterested about tomorrows game - i have a SC and to be honest the only reason I am going is because a member of my family has got a ticket next to me for the game. I am preying that tomorrows game re-ignights my passion for SAFC but I am totally indifferent at the moment. I know some of you will be calling me "not a true supporter" etc but I really have just about had enough.

One thing I will never do is bo the players its just not right

Had built my hopes for a good season in a large part on the backs od Kone and Kaboul, so I have to admit I am a bit deflated, but then again it has happened a million times before , three points today would help me
