To be honest now..I would sell. He clearly doesn't want to play for us, assuming Moyes can use all the money he gets for a replacement..get rid, The greedy twat doesn't deserve to wear the shirt
We've ****ed half the squad and I can't see Kone being on silly money. He was only 5m unproven overseas cb. Be suprised if he's earning in excess of 25k and I can't see wages hitting 70% of Turnover this season unless Short goes divy and sends Bain to 'Arrods. I think we could let him rot. We could ****ing break him. But then, I don't trust the club at the moment either. The club could be taken the piss with the contract offer and this back problem is him taking the piss back.
I don't think it's personal. I think he'll sign a contract with anybody who pays him what he wants. Question is who's taking the piss here? I suspect it Kone is asking for something daft like 60k+ but I don't trust the club either at the moment and wouldn't put it past us to offer an extra 5k on say a 25k contract. Certainly with Kone being greedy and Short being tight it's never going to end well.
Must admit I like the sound of that. Refused a contract so he stays and stagnates on the old one. See what he thinks of his pissflap of an agent then.
