Strobe 33/1 -Perth 4 55
This old boy still has it -had a spin on the flat two weeks ago and will no doubt be primed for a go -did the same thing last year.a flat run preceding a win at Bangor -but Perth is a happy hunting ground for this fellow -the only fly in the soup is the rain that may fall -but as long as good is in the description I'm hopeful of a big run
Tipping a horse in Scotland then worrying about the rain. We were born in kagouls up here!

Patsys Castle Newton Abott 4.20 @ 6s. Dropped 8 lb from lto where he ran well enough before trying to take a fence with him. Plugged on afterwards. If he can avoid a race ending mistake again I think this revised mark will put him right in the mix.
Top Tug for me as well in the big un at York. Good luck all.

Morning guys DIPLOMA 215 York is my only bet of the day won very well lto although dropping back in trip I still think way to classy and at 7/2 well worth my £20 gl if you follow ;)

A terrible week for me and am hoping quick jack will get me out off trouble with a 7lb claimer up top. Will I be brave and lump on or cut my loses and just have a nibble?

Scoop 6/ew lucky 63:

1:45 York - Scarlet Dragon 7/1
2:15 York - Air Pilot 8/1
2:50 York - Kellstorm 7/1
3:05 Sandown - Total Star 14/1
3:40 Sandown - Bermondsey 6/1
4:00 York - Heartbreak City 10/1

Also done Elidor 28/1 in the Ebor, reverse forecast with the above

Morning, crew. A great day’s racing but from a personal punting perspective I do wonder if there are that many great wagers out there today.

I was going to put up Stargazer in the card commencer at York but he now doesn’t go so instead I’ll nominate to the dear old regular readers LATHOM (5.05) in the lucky last. He really is weighted to win one of these handicaps but he’s one of those frustrating sprinters where everything needs to fall right to enable him to do so. Should that occur though I do think he’s much better than a 91 rated animal and current quotes of 8/1 are worthy of the ‘risk’ involved.

The main, main, main one for the weekend is tomorrow though. Have updated Sunday’s thread.

Good luck all.

Horse goes in the last at York I've put up before and I think Stick may have done also. I've backed it a few times without success so today might just be the last chance it gets from me: 5:05 York - Lathom 15/2 win single and win double with 3:20 Curragh - Velveteen 5/1

Not much interest around for the race of the day at Sandown (3.05). Can't wait for it. Looking forward to see how Frankel junior handles the step up in class. Feast for the eyes.

Your lads in for a heavy beating today I reckon. 1 nil all over it.

All joking aside I think score draw they're always tough these Derbies. It's a game I think we should be winning but Leeds will be keen to get off the mark. I do think that if Leeds fail to win Monk may be shown the door by your clown of a chairman
