Could this be the season where Saints finally struggle after losing their best players.
Without Mane & Pelle they just don't look to have that threat up top. Lovely passing in the midfield and build up play, but lack killer edge in and around the box. Think they could be looking at a bottom half finish this year.

See that should be a yellow. Fellaini is clearly trying to stop a quick free kick there. Just cos the player hasn't kicked the ball at him he gets away with it.
Hojbjerg looks good IMO. The pen was soft. Yeah there may have been a clip but the stumble on his own legs was the primary reason Shaw went down. Other than that, United look worryingly revitalised. Hopefully Mourinho abuses some staff member again soon and it unravels.

Saints have missed Bertrand. Targett has been done quite a bit by Valencia and going forward has been poor.

United have won 2 games and already are genuine title challengers... blimey, let's let everyone have at least 2 games before we start deciding who is going to challenge for the title. I suppose the same will be said if Hull or Swansea win their next game and go level with United?
