Of course, but until they are leaked we will never know. Add ons are there for both clubs, the selling club must have faith that the player can achieve the targets and the buying club must believe that if he does he will have been worth the extra money.
No worries...it's just not been your best attempt overall this one. Knowing our transfer record we'll give you another opportunity shortly....
Liverpool are in danger of killing any deal for Christian Benteke after refusing to budge on their asking price. Crystal Palace have outline personal terms agreed with the Belgium international, who is keen to leave Anfield for first-team football with the Eagles. Jurgen Klopp is keen to cash in on the 25-year-old, who was bought from Aston Villa for a whopping £32.5million last summer. But Anfield chiefs are determined to make all of their outlay back, which could see Palace walk away from the deal. I didn't say the supporters on a forum wouldn't accept less than you paid, I said the club
But no one else can play the Can role - the difference he made when he came on helped us to see the game out. And no one can play the deep lying controller either (Can is still developing).
Liverpool will have to overcome AC Milan to secure Anwar El Ghazi's signature. That's according to Tuttosport, who say Jurgen Klopp is not the only boss interested in prizing the Holland international away from Ajax. The former Borussia Dortmund manager has already welcomed eight new faces to Anfield in deals totalling more than £60m this summer. But he admitted he could spend again after watching his team thrash Barcelona earlier this month. Meanwhile, reported Reds target Leandro Paredes will only leave Roma if he's guaranteed playing time this season. The 22-year-old starred for Empoli in Serie A last year, making 33 appearances. And his performances caught the eye of host of European sides. But he's allegedly revealed he must have a first-team spot guaranteed if he is to walk away from the Stadio Olimpico.
Two very talented youngsters who could walk into our team. Paredes would solve a massive hole in our midfield.
Read this earlier - not sure if fully true but interesting - This summer we've recouped £80m without selling a single first 11 player.
. Then we have to spend the money wisely. I don't think Klopp has done badly in transfer market so far.
I think thats good but playing devils advocate, have we lost money overall? What I mean is did these players get sold for more than we bought them?
Not sure - £15m for Ibe is a great deal, pretty much broke even on Benteke, Skrtel wasn't that expensive when we first bought him. Brad Smith £6m is surely profit as well. Joe Allen was how much? All in all, we either broke even or near enough, or made a profit. Really good business considering we've improved the squad as a whole.
Ibe £14.5m profit Sinclair £4m profit Smith £3m profit Canos £2.5m profit Benteke £5.5m loss assuming no add-ons Allen £2m loss Skrtel £1m loss At least £15.5m profit
Assets do depreciate some appreciate. Can agree on loss on Benteke, but not Allen &Skrtel(because of wear and tear)
