Next lad as you put it is Pearson with verity ( that's not good), Farnan.
Not sure about consortia in general or verity in particular but they will be better than the current set up.
They have access to many multiples the amount of cash the cellinos and gfh have to invest. Hope it goes througb and they give monk two seasons to turn it round. Forget playoffs just improve the squad this year.
I like the way fans look on it as investing money. It's not. It's throwing away money in most cases with football clubs

Lets analyse it a little Chippy, while it could be true, something don't look or sound right.
1) The Italian businessman was at the forefront regarding him buying a stake in LUFC. I said stake because I've never read anything about a full takeover.
2)The Italian businessman said he has been having talks with Cellino, but nothing has been decided or set in concrete.
3) Cellino mentioned not so long ago he's not selling.
4) From out of the blue, up pops this rumour (that's what it is at moment) that an unnamed consortium are ready to buy LUFC outright, but maybe not GFH's little piddly share.
5) Consortiums are interested in only making money, they want a profit on their investment, ala GFH etc, also, chances are, the consortium has a couple of crooks within it's ranks.
6) If Farnan and Co are involved, they didn't have the funds last time, nor any excess funds, so how have they managed to, if true, get the excess and extra funding, plus the actual money to buy LUFC off Cellino.
7) The lad who started this rumour also says due diligence has happened, or is happening, he goes on to mention GFH are going to spill beans on KWB etc, so, what threat are GFH under to force them into that predicament.
8) Another lad pops up and says he's throwing his eggs into same basket as he's heard the same thing (friends maybe)?
9) Phil Hay jumped into it as well, but does he ever get things right, or is he just jumping on the rumour mongers bandwagon.
10) If Cellino is selling, why is he spending so much money on new players.
11) If Cellino is selling, why would he even bother about sacking Monk, wouldn't he leave that problem to new buyers.
12) If Cellino is selling, why is he doing everything to help go on a promotion push and, offer up to 50% refund if we don't make the playoffs remembering, for a so called consortium to buy LUFC means they would've been in talks for quite a while.
