"I’ve always said that you can live without water for many days, but you can’t live for a second without hope." ****ing hell!
How very Chelsea: Scott Brown somehow doesn't concede a penalty (or get sent off) for elbowing a Be'er player in the face, then a few minutes later pops up at the other end to make it 5-2.
Two own goals in the first 20 minutes, taking his tally for this season to three, then sent off in injury time! He actually had a fairly decent Euros and various teams were looking at him this summer, including Celtic. I suspect that any moves might be on hold now, though.
Supposedly rejected a new contract during this own-goal-scoring run as well. Safe to say Blackburn must be rejoicing at his decision now!
"Mahrez to Arsenal is a done deal. He'll wear number 26 on his shirt. There is absolutely no way this deal isn't happening." - A brainless Woolwich bellend, just 2 hours before Mahrez signed a new 4 year deal
<FACT> Wonder if that is the Goon from ja606 known as RGK. Though this is not as good as his 'at least two of Higuain/Rooney/Suarez will be signed' proclamation of summer 2014.
You know, their team is better than us (for now!), I get that, but their fans are just the gift that keeps on giving. If it's not the knobbers over at ArsenalFan TV, it's the social media pillocks like this that just help keep us Spurs lads constantly amused.
"I always say a squad is like a good meal. I'm not a great cook, but a good meal takes a wee bit of time. But also, to offer a good meal, you need good ingredients." Did nobody point out that great ingredients and a **** cook normally also means a **** meal?
I thought that when watching their other games in the Europa, but they had Betway on them against Chelsea. I'd assume that it's something to do with it being a gambling firm, but that's a guess.
or that the Betway sponsorship is for Prem only and they are looking for a European partner? We had different sponsors a while back.
So you know how West Scam paid £20m for Andre Ayew a couple of weeks ago? He's out until December (at the earliest) with a thigh injury. please log in to view this image
I've just done a bit of browsing and they weren't allowed to wear them against Domzale in Slovenia, as online betting's illegal there. They wore them in the second leg, though. I'm not sure if the same applies to Romania, but it seems a fair bet.
Watford have agreed a fee with Sunderland for Younes Kaboul, who has told the club that he wants to leave for personal reasons. Looks like he wants a move back to the south, possibly because of the proximity to France or because he lived here for years. They've been linked with DeAndre Yedlin since his loan to them expired and have also been linked with Tom Carroll. Kaboul would still need to be replaced too, assuming he does leave. Lots of work for them in a short period of time.
