Forecasting a bit of rain for about midday at York tomorrow I think, hopefully it won't get there until later and it won't have too much affect on the ground especially with the Nunthorpe on it could ruin what looks a good race on paper.
Me too love this horse but also very keen on Yalta in the same race. Bit of value there at 9s and have backed both in singles and done the reverse forecast
Unless the inside info is that it is actually better at the new trip (usually more likely when up in trip though)
Yalta broke the 2yo track record at Goodwood lto but he will have to be fairly special to beat his elders on a flatter track here, I don't see it myself but stranger things can happen. Minefield of a race, hope the weather holds up. How often will Graham Cunningham bang on about a course record beofre the Nunthorpe goes off with his main reference horse being Take Cover..."only knows one way to race" etc. 1-3 mentions 4/5 4-6 mentions 7/2 0 mentions 250/1
I tell you what I have backed gents- Usain Bolt to break his own 200m World Record tonight. I believe he has it in him. The 100m scheduling ruled out any records earlier this week because there was no recovery time between semi and final but the 200 is better laid out. Bolt jogged, turned, and laughed his way to 19.79 in the Semi Finals. He has 19.19 to beat and I do think a Bolt that runs all the way to the line might just get into the 19.0s. If there's one event where he can do it it's the 200m. I'd never usually back world records to be broken but Iv had my eye on this one for the week. He has no Gatlin and Blake to worry him in a race for Gold so I think he will have just the clock to race by the time they turn in, and I think that will give him a better chance with zero distractions.
Supplemented, should hopefully have rattling ground, won 2 lengths and not even really pushed out too much over 6f! He will be fine aslong as there is no rain!!
Track's too slow for a WR over 200m apparently not that i know too much about Olympic sprinting. The 400m went because this track's better for top speed endurance or so i read.
Killarney 7.55 Don Padeja 10/1 Fergal brought a couple over to Killarney and one ran a cracker at a big price to almost snatch a win from the front. It wouldn't shock me to see him try again to land a big pot tomorrow at Killarney. The horse is running really well recently in races that are worth about £6k. There's £20k to the winner tomorrow so you can understand why the yard may fancy a few days in Ireland and a plot or two. Worth a dig on form anyway but the fact he's come over to contest a decent prize adds a little more confidence of a decent run. We'll see what happens at about 8pm.
Profitable must be the most under rated horse in training across both codes. 6/1 is a big old price for a horse that looked bomb proof over 5f this season.
