Great shout Simon! I had a look at that one after your post and followed you. 2x Singles and an e/w Double with Ring Eye in the 4.30Chep
I agree. Only group one horse in this race and comes good later in the season so you can probably upgrade everything she's done this term by a little bit. I'd like her to nick the lead and lead them all home but we shall see. 5/2 is a fair enough price based on all known form.
Fancy Fireglow each-way in this one. A bit of class with a bit of Group 1 form plus a better run over a first attempt at 12f last time out.
She's very good this Seventh Heaven. Nice performance again and improves past the apparent first string Found.
Got to say that Seventh Heaven may just be the improving horse but i'm not massively impressed by Seamie's ride on Found. Seemed to allow the winner to get first run and she's never been fast enough to pick one up.
Would that run by Fireglow concern you if you were a fan of Abingdon in the next or was it too bad to be true?
I was considering a bet on Abingdon earlier...Bolger's Glamorous Approach concerns me...He seldom wastes the trip and has hit form from out of nowhere recently, doesn't look much of a race to me though.
I landed on Glamorous Approach, her last raid across the sea was a good effort too and she's bound to go close in a weakish race. Took some 6/1.
Play the Ace ran so well there. Jockey had a plan and executed it to the letter. Very well done the Bowen's.
As a gentleman of advancing years I really should have learned the lesson of not getting too greedy by now. I went on SkyBet last night to have a £50 double on Seventh Heaven 4/1 and Abingdon 2/1, at the last moment I noticed that they had enhanced Fair Eva to 4/9 so instead of the double I made it a treble! MUG!!!!!
