His positioning is exaggerated based on him getting forward but that doesn't mean he has good positioning otherwise, he doesn't.

His crazy two footed lunges (not a new thing for him btw) are unjustifiable! They are as bad as Skrtel's holding!!!

It wouldn't be so bad if he was good going forward but he isn't. He never scores, very rarely assists and needs to learn how to cross a ball; he only ever drills it, poorly.

I actually think Clyne is better both defensively and offensively.

If there is anything annoying about Moreno and his attack play is his crossing. I am willing to excuse his defensive frailties if he was creating assists on the other end.

Why does he always cross like he is shooting!!!

Everything is always a rush of blood in how he operates. He is never subtle in the cross he needs to learn how to cross as I believe he will never be a good defender.

He needs to be supplying assists so that the opponents fullback avoids attacking him.

I just think he needs to calm down a bit and maybe even not try so hard. His decision making is often what gets him in to a mess in the first place and he tries to overcompensate with panicky tackles.

Yeah, his tackling is often rash. I'm not convinced he can change that either.

How long do we have to give him? In a years time, he won't be much better or different to what he is today. By all means, give players a few months to settle. A year even. But more than that? Either way, it reflects badly on the player as it means he is a very slow learner.

The most important quality of a defender is the ability to defend and reliability and consistency. His fellow defenders have to be able to depend on him to do his job.

Now let's be serious - once our attack clicked, it bloody clicked. Really didn't think Mane would have sort of impact but what a promising debut. Firmino was quiet but really links well and plays with such intelligence, Coutinho always perks up after he scores but he generally quiet.

Haha he was shocking in the first half and we need to upgrade him but the amount of abuse and attention on him is way overboard.

We were ****e for the first 45 minutes, average for the last 25, with a spell of pure brilliance in between.
