The point is, a week after their takeover, they're shopping in Harrod's while we're still effectively blundering round Aldi and car boot sales. But that's how many prefer our stature as a club and they're happy to preserve that status quo.
I'm envious of Wolves - it's not even just the Prem that's not a level playing field any more, it's drip-feeding down to the next tier as well. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Totally agree, Moxey needs to earn his salary and go out and get that foreign investment <ok>

As the General says; "have we bought a striker yet?"

Yes Cromer, I hear what you say and your analogy is excellent. Whilst it's all very well 'shopping in Harrod's', the test of the chef is to blend all of the ingredients to make a delicious meal. Time will tell if Wolves have a Gordon Ramsay or a 'Commis Chef'.

Yep - Steven Naismith <whistle>

I thought Naismith had a reasonable game. He worked hard against SW's frustrating tactics and looked the likeliest to find a way through. Bringing on Mulumbu wasn't as daft as many people assume. It allowed Howson to move forward in a more attacking role whilst also blunting the threat from SW's breaks.

As for transfers, I'll be pleased if the young French CB comes in. He's only 18, but has been a regular CB for them for two years already. With the young players we already have plus Canos as well, AN is quietly building an 'under squad' for the future. Yes, we all want to see strikers coming in but they need to be the right ones. Gary Hooper demonstrated very effectively why he isn't at CR any more. I'm hopeful we come up with the right solution this time.

Naismith's passing was probably the most frustrating stand out element of the game for me. Out of play, straight to the opposition, to thin air. Most moves seemed to brake down with him trying to make a pass. Which was totally different to the first game. I do admit some of that would have been down to Wednesday's pressing, but still...

I tend to agree with KIO that we'll most likely end up with some PL 'Cast off' striker on loan!!!
