I fear we've declared too late (unless we can take at least one more before the close tonight), because as a batting team you can bat out a day with nine wickets in hand. But I can understand why. There is absolutely no way we can afford to lose this, so we put on more than we realistically needed to.

Absolutely crucial day for Hants, if they can force a win and Surrey fail to win then the season is very much still alive.
Gutted that we are losing Liam Dawson, although i'm happy for him for his England call up, but good to have Vincey back.
