He was determined to get McCormack though, wasn't he. I'd rather go all out for Britt first. Maybe an unknown European striker as a second/back up buy.
The thing with Britt is that one lge game in and he's already gone missing with a knock. Is he too much of a risk?

Plus Olsson and Howson got knocks in the first game. I'd still rather have both in our squad.
Any signing is risk, I think there is a concern with his the injuries, and the African cup of Nations call up early next year would be a pain. I do hope that 2 strikers are being lined up though atm.

Seems as though Carlton Morris will be going on loan again, but at least AN has said that Maddison and the Murphys will be staying along with Canos, so looking forward to seeing them getting some game time. We should also get to see Ben Godfrey in some of the more minor games.
All the same players always linked with the relegated clubs. Agents?

6'3" 18 years old, has played in Sochaux first team for the last two seasons, so must have something about him. Continuing AN's youth policy of building for the future.
6'3 CB, French U19 international. Sounds like a serious rumor. Plenty of sites say he watched the game from the stands yesterday. All sounds pretty promising. Sounds like the lad has pretty decent potential. Should be physically suited to the Championship. Tall and strong. Reasonable pace. Can play RB and DCM too.

Wouldn't appear to be a bad signing in terms of team development, but he's not the CB signing I and others on here were looking for.
Can't see him playing a significant role this season, but could be one for the future.
A familiar mantra trotted out at every opportunity by NCFC!
