Lets keep this going and hopefully quite a few of us can comment on here in a month or so and admit we got it wrong with our opinions for the season ahead, especially Love and McNair. Maybes if Kone goes it could be a blessing in disguise(I very much doubt it would though).

Now for past mistakes and lets all be honest. I said James McClean would be as good as Gareth Bale when he first broke into our first team <doh>.

Ha ha.... How much humble pie do you have to eat to cancel out that statement ?!?

Stan Vargas debut vs Arsenal (2000-01) had me purring like a cat, I was convinced he would end up at Man Utd, Barcelona etc etc.

Why are we paying 500k for some unknown striker called Kevin Phillips? We should show more ambition and buy somebody for a million plus!
