Have you seen the design for Chelsea's new stadium? looks like a monstrous concrete egg slicer or maybe a toast rack.
i havent no, but i genuinely dont like the spuds one if that is it. and ask @Hoddle Is A God about timescales for developments mate its not my forte
Singed 2 very good experienced CB's and I'm sure Sakho will sort himself out. We've got Matip from Shalke, one of the best CB's in Germany last season. Also bought Klavin, very experienced but will be back up. Basically a straight swap for Kolo Toure as he left. So not looking bad. We've also just sold a LB so I'm certain Klopp will buy a new LB. Bias aside our summer transfer dealings this summer have been excellent. That's outgoings too. We're finally getting rid of fringe players and buying players good enough for our first team. Bournemouth gave us £6mil for Smith ffs!! He's about our 3rd choice LB. Klopp is being ruthless, you're not good enough your on the list to be sold. Previous managers kept these type of players. So all looking good and lot's of business done early so getting a good pre-season. We were in for Alderweireld a few years back, gutted we missed him. Best CB in the PL last season it pains me to say!
In that respect both Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino are alike. We're letting N'Jie go after 2 starts and 14 appearances in total. He didn't show what we thought he would and so it's time to leave. Fazio and Stamboulli got the same. Townsend won't behave? "Taxi for Mr Townsend!" It's rumoured Bentaleb's on a similar departure for the same reasons. There's only room for one boss and I think Sakho's a gonner - maybe he'll become a Gooner? They like dodgy centre backs (as well as goalies) but Wenger likes to get them cheap, so maybe not. Liverpool look improved but I'm not sure about Firmino, Coutinho and Mane. You'll tank some sides, no doubt, but all have a one in three ratio of good games to invisible ones to this viewer. With us, it will depend upon what fantastic young players like Harry Winks, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Dominic Ball, DeAndre Yedlin, Marcus Edwards, Shayon Harrison, et al show in pre-season. There's enormous talent and real promise there but getting it onto the pitch for the first team at the right time is the trick. We're losing Alex Pritchard because that didn't happen due to injuries and other factors. In a couple of years that lot could form the backbone of a really top Spurs' side. That's what Mauricio Pochettino represents to us - the man who will turn our Academy into our first team.
Sorry to hear that new Liverpool signing Marko Grujic is in hospital suffering memory loss. It brings up the old football joke: A player suffers a head injury. The physio runs on and starts to treat a significant lump on the guy's head. He asks him: "How are you feeling?" The player is very groggy and says: "Not so good, I can't remember what happened." The physio asks if the player can remember who he is playing against? He can't remember. He asks him who he is playing for? Nothing. Finally, he asks him if he can remember who he is? Not a sausage. The physio reports back to the manager. The manager tells him - "Just tell him he's Messi and to get back on the pitch and start scoring."
It does look like a space craft. Reminds me of that Michael Rennie film "The Day the Earth Stoodstill!"
Loris 'Carryout' has broken his hand leaving you with 'The Belgian Fumbler' and a 39 year old that Arsene Wenger (who loves a dodgy keeper) rejected 15 years ago being replaced by Richard Wright! That's why Alex Manninger is A BAD BUY.
It appears that Liverpool have missed out on a major target, Benfica's young winger, Anderson Talisca. The club have accepted a €25m bid, he's awaiting a work permit and he's traveled to take his medical. Who's beaten them to the punch? Wolves.
