Astro "Klopps failure are ignored" turf has moments of lucidity especially when he is not biased for or against!

His assessment of Kloppyflop is spot on. Overated and his failures and weaknesses are ignored and brushed under the carpet. And his latest assessment about his manager being over-rated was just a few days after Rodgers was sacked. At last an RS comes out with the truth.

I don't see how he can ever come back from this tbh.

Managed to make decent signings. How far will he go?
tbh the fact liverpool are the only club among top6 who are not in any European competition, will give him a big advantage this season. same happened with Rodgers at 2013-14 when you challenged for the title before collapsing back the following season
so he will do well this season

That may have had a little bit to do with Suarez and an uninjured Sturridge. If we do it this time, it'll be down to effective management.

So I'm right in thinking that you don't think very much of Klopp?

No, I actually think he's quite a good manager. But ultimately he is a manager of a mid table club which falls a little bit further behind the top clubs with each passing season.

It says a lot that despite Gotze wanting out of Bayern he wouldn't even consider moving to Liverpool, and rejoining the manager who made him. But then he would jump at the chance to go to Dortmund on much lower wages.

If Klopp had the squad your lot had in 13/14, or 08/09 for that matter, he might well have won the title. But I don't think you will assemble a squad of that quality again, and Klopp isn't a good enough manager to overcome that kind of disadvantage.

Problem with Liverpool is they are not buying top quality, but average to good players and when a player dows show promise a bigger club like West Ham come along and buy him.

'Never' is a very long time, Swarbs. I wouldn't bet on it. Without the red tinted glasses (and you know me), I actually believe Klopp to be considerably better than 'quite a good manager'. You could be surprised. I certainly hope so.

PS. When do I get my ****ing Dawkins book back? <laugh>
