Chaps, I had a bit of a shocking few days last week so not been on much.
First of all my wife has had to bring a discrimination case against her employer, that same day she was involved in a car crash when some one drove into the back of her on the motorway and then the following night I was woken at 2.30 am by the sound of a brick being thrown through my window in the front room. As I got downstairs I was saw two men, one in the house and one trying to steal my car. Luckily when i ran outside sporting a pair of pants only intended for personal viewing, they both ran off. They took a laptop, iPad and cash but didn't get the car.
The police were more bothered about some oak barrels i had in the back garden so i'm not holding out much hope of getting it all back. The CSI fingerprint guy that came round the next morning told me he'd been to 4 houses that morning in the West Yorks area and it looks like they'd been stealing cars to order. What a bunch of scum bags.
Anyway, after a stress relieving treble at the weekend that returned a big fat zip i'm back to the well to see if i can catch a Michael Bell horse on hurdles debut.
Taper Tantrum runs in the 2.10 and is priced at a general 7/2 this morning. For a horse rated in the low 80's on the flat i think they've found a reasonably weak contest and i'm reasonably hopeful on a decent run.
