Just seen a clip of the last 30 seconds of the Olympic basketball match between Brazil and Spain. Brazil were one down with seconds to go and score to take the lead. The camera cuts to the crowd where a small balding man, surrounded by lots of women in green and gold, is jumping up and down.

He is wearing a QPR Dennis the Menace top. (Old style "guinness" but with "something Ale" printed on the front. The interwoven letters QPR without a surround printed on the left breast.)

Do we know who this is?
 
Are you sure it was a QPR shirt? I think there is a Brazilian club team called Flamengo who also play in black and red hooped shirts. Just checked and apparently, they are based in Rio.

You're right. Doesn't the cluster of letters on the left breast look like QPR (well they do if you get a 3 second glimpse!)
