McNair, meh, wouldn't be bothered if he left for peanuts, he's good on the ball but not great positionally and his awareness needs work, still if he left I'd wish him all the best.

The thing is mate, even if its true, we don't know what else is going on behind the scenes. We may need this cash plus whatever else ES is going to chip in, for targets that Moyesy's got lined up.
Our first signing was right out of left field, caught everyone by surprise. They may well be working on several others we know nothing about.
It's just a little too early for me to get worked up about losing Kone (which I would be) if we don't necessarily know the whole picture.

But why the need to chip in when we have a PROVEN player in that position and we are so nearly at the beginning of the season, beggars belief!!!
That's what i cant get my head around, 2 days ago he was staying here and next he is supposedly at Everton waiting to shake hands on a deal.
Its not as though there are only 2 hours left of the transfer window!!

Moyes said that he may have to sell sometime to fund transfers, but i was taking that as being like next year or the year after, not now.
