I went a couple of weeks ago. Lovely site. You can hear the lions roar at night! The windmills are a bit of a pain, quite loud at night. But would return

I ran a business in the High St for many years and represented the village as a District Councillor. Try the beach walk to the south, after a mile or two you come to a deserted beach that would do credit to the Caribbean .

I think it was mainly the Tories that were Masons. If you are feeling energetic you can walk all the way to Southwold on the beach. There is a regular bus service back to the big K.

I went once in 1973, it was very nice.

I had a 'liaison' with a girl from Mansfield. She was also very nice.

Hope that helps. <ok>

It's the Suffolk/Norfolk boondocks, geographically Suffolk, but the local accent is far more Norfolk than Suffolk, not a bad place for a 'get away from it all' break tho', quaint and timeless in it's own way.

Thanks Cruyff's sorry about the other 2 wums derailing the thread.
They have been reported and hopefully a site ban will stop any further nonsense.
