AN states that he has CJ, Lafferty, Morris and Naismith available as strikers. Well he obviously believes that each can do a job for him, but will any one of Lafferty, Morris and Naismith actually measure up to the job if required? We need to hit the ground running at Blackburn and I bet he selects CJ as main striker. Newcastle showed yesterday that even as favourites for promotion back to Prem it's going to hard road back. Lafferty is clearly out of favour, Morris is not ready for the Championship and Naismith is hardly reliable on the goal scoring front! Come on AN who do you think you are kidding. At least two strikers are definitely needed asap
Isn't Josh listed as a Striker too for this season, I think?

That's just to make the squad appear more balanced to the neutral - and the board of directors.
We all know his most effective position - so does the gaffer. Just because he cuts inside now and again - like most wingers (Redmond used to do it often) doesn't make him a striker <grr>
Tosh and flannel. Bah!

So was listing Naismith as a Striker :emoticon-0105-wink:

Plus we all know he hates Lafferty's guts, so he shouldn't be on the list. If he gets any game time at all, we know AN is in a real striker panic, despite what he tells us.

I think Josh could make the transition to a Simeon Jackson sort of striker. Wenger converted Henry from a winger to a striker to good effect. I still think he'll stay at WL most of the time but he looked sharp in the pre-season and could offer another option as an impact sub striker.

Can I also draw peoples attention to the Score and Line-up prediction leagues. The Score prediction only involves the predicted final score and City's first scorer. The easiest way for the line-up prediction is to copy and paste one already posted and make your own adjustments to suit. Go on - have a go

Wiki is quite gushing about his defensive qualities. Dan does an awful lot of match commentaries on the Bundesliga for Fox, ESPN, whoever screens the matches, so he knows the German leagues inside out.
Ah right. Is that just a player he's picked out? Or have we been linked to him?

Wells and Kodija are the logical rumours from other championship sides. If it's two strikers though, I imagine one will be a bit more of a gamble from overseas.
