don't think Newcastle are going to find this division easy. Tonight they were poor against a Fulham side who'll do well to be mid-table. If we can get a few more attacking options we'll be right up there challenging
Looks like Newcastle may well be the old QPR of pass seasons in relation to paying big dollars to try and bounce back. Rafa must have a truckload of pressure on him to make this happen. Hope for his sake he can wing it. Newcastle fans won't give him too long before they ark up.
Last time they were in the Championship they were pretty poor in the first couple of months but were still picking up wins and went on to win it with 102 points. We outplayed them at St James's Park and they got a lucky late equaliser so they rode their luck. I think it may be similar this season. They just have a lot in their favour, big squad, big support and in the long run that helps a lot. Big question is can they handle the pressure of expectation?...
But, are their players good enough? I would take Lynch, Hayden & Chery every day rather than Clarke, Hayden & Gayle!
Maybe I'm just glass half empty but I last time we played as well as either of those two teams last night was probably the season we got promoted in 2011. It is a tough league.
