I cant see Coleman telling the Welsh FA he wants to leave.. He's had a decent Euros with them and can look forward to the World Cup.. Why would he come to us with all the problems we have going on? It cant be about the money...
£1m salary versus £200k salary. That's one reason. Wales have probably reached a pinnacle in terms of tournament success (no disrespect to Wales) His stock and earning potential right now is probably as good as it ever will be.
Apparently his Salary with Wales just went up to around $450K, just saying like. But I am sure you are right that money could well dictate his decision.

The point still stands. We'd probably double or triple his wage. That's tempting in any line of work! I'm not sure Wales could offer that much.
They're probably still pursuing Coleman because nobody tells them how to run their business. The FAW should bow down to all that is great about the Allams and worship them. Or something like that...
A bloke from BBC Wales was on RH this morning, he said Coleman's wage went from £200k to £450k when he signed a new deal in May.
Phelen in my opinion will be the last resort. He is being strung along just to run training and as a fallback. If we get someone, I can only see Phelen getting axed in some ****ty way.
There's no reference to his salary I can find other than around the £200k mark. When discussing it yesterday Burnsy said he'd (Coleman) earn 5 times more in the PL at City. Bruce was on about £1M a year. All irrelevant as he's not our manager and we can only speculate at the moment.
He'll be chewed up and spat out as soon as he's not needed. At least he's kept his dignity in all of this mess which will work in his favour when/if he needs to find work.
Well I hope plan A (Coleman) comes off, if not, I can see plan B (Zola) telling the Allams to piss off after watching them pursue Coleman so desperately, unless he doesn't mind being second best as far as the Allams are concerned.
im not sure about coleman, other than Martinez the others haven't done a great deal. I dont remeber Coleman doing anything at fulham or Sociedad, i just have it in my head Zola would attract players and we'd play better football
