Whatever... You were wrong. Fact. Now the ban threats come along because you were wrong Scooter boy ... THICK KNOW IT ALL **** !

You're an angry person. You seem like the kind of person that prefers to start a fight in a bar instead of walking away. Nobody likes those people.

So. Shush.

I'd rather we were competing from the start - we need every point we can get. Sure, by the end of the month we will have more of an idea what we have and the new manager will start to see the fruit of their labour. 1 month too late in my book.

Too true, we can't afford to be playing catch up. It's not just about the points, we need a lot of gaps filling (phrasing) and the new manager is going to have to work very hard to breed his philosophy into the team. Any new signings will have to settle into the team/the style of play and that doesn't happen over night.

To be honest Willy.. with a full squad I was hoping we might catch Leicester cold and grab 3 points and then sneak two draws out of the next 5. As it is over the first 6 games we might be marooned on zilch ... BUT.... at least those games will be out of the way by which time Daws might be close to a comeback...

The new manager has 29 days not 10. Until the end of the transfer deadline.
The first few games are tough, we aren't expected to get many points.
Our season will 'start' after the window shuts.
If we appoint Zola, we may bring in 5 players in the last week of August.
There is always a mad scramble of transfers, players will become available.

Unfortunately everyone else's season starts at the start of the season.

Admire your optimism though.

fair play to Mo...it'll be his last good contract... given his age...
I can't fault the guy. Id have loved to watch him in B&A this season, the pass on saturday was sublime. Watch him step it up a gear now and become what he might have been here handled correctly..

I actually can't help but think Diame may flop at Newcastle as it stinks of 'i'm going there just for the money' Fact is he said if we were not promoted he would leave as he wanted Premier league football but is now going back to the division we came from! I don't blame him for going, I just question his decision of where to! Another Mercenary for me! But I suppose a vast majority of them are!

Long term Newcastle are a much better option for him. He's got a 4 year deal (on big wages I expect) and Rafa will get them up this season and keep them up in the seasons after that.....whilst we plummet into oblivion. He's had a season in the Championship now....he'll be ready for it.

I agree. We'll more than likely pass each other next year unless something strange happens. He could have had a season in the Prem and possibly gotten a move at the end but why take the risk?

He`s watched as the ****wits in charge have unceremoniously made a complete and utter mess of handling a take over, the situation with the manager and prospective signings, this is embarrassing how bad it`s got, I don`t blame the lad one jot for looking to get out, I`m sure there are others hoping bids come in for them to get them out of this nightmare, they will look round at the fit players, (shouldn`t take long) and think to themselves wtf have i let myself in for here, and still not have a clue what manager will be in charge at the start of the season.
