Just back fromthe lakes where we were sat in a nice bar chatting with with some guys about the upcoming season. Without exception everyone wanted Barca to fail big time but we all know it isn't going to happen. We don't go to the beaches in August. Too many tourists even if they are nearly all Spanish and hardly a Brit in sight.

I never go to the beach in August, if at all avoidable. It's wall to wall Spanish from wherever, who have holiday apartments here. You can't even park!..,

It's the only time it's cool enough to work outside here. The street cleaner is the worst. A giant vacuum cleaner on wheels at 7 in the morning Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
