    If this soldier gets the jail he will get out in 2 years even if he gets a life sentence. Same as Republicans.

    Joe McCann didn't target innocent civilians. He targeted British Soldiers, and was very good at it. Hence his targeting.

    So basically the British soldier was doing his job correctly then under the terms of war, you shoot the enemy?

    Yet the guy shooting British soldiers will be sent to jail yet there's outcry when a British soldier is held to account for shooting Republicans?

    Stalemate. The brits didn't give a **** when bombs were going off in Belfast and soldiers from sink estates in Britain were getting killed.

    That all changed when the IRA cost them a fortune blowing up Bishopsgate and the stock exchange for example.

    When it was costing them billions they couldn't get to the negotiating table quick enough.
