****ing Tash and this stay for one season bollocks, piss off man. His heart isn't in it simple - you saw him the back end of last season ! pure pishhhh ! lets get 7m for him now and try and get mbengue, izaguirre for 5m. If not then we can look at figuerora maybe ? then get the clyne kid in for 2m to cover the full back positions.

Tash you are wrong on this occasion my friend, just because he was a good player, there is no point keeping a want away player. admit it ?

He's angry at the board and the owner not the fans. His mates are here and if he does stay, i would recommend to him that he puts 100% into his performances if he wants his transfer to a CL team. He wont get that by putting in half assed performances because he'd rather be playing in the champions league.

He should stay for another season, and i think he'll be quite happy in doing so since his mates are here. Yeah he'd rather be at a better club, i have no doubt, but he can still play well here for another season. Plus if he leaves on a free it's more likely that the club that he wants to go to the most will be in for him, especially if he plays well for the season.

He needs to play for the transfer he desires. Keep him.

If he wasnt going into the last year of his contract we'd easily be able to demand £15m - £18m for him, considering the price of other transfers going around nowadays.

Will be Spains no.1 left back once he joins a club playing European football no doubt.

Would much rather have Enrique for one more season instead of selling him. If he plays awful for the season, no one will want him. So I fully expect him to try his hardest putting himself "in the window" to make sure clubs take notice.

shearers raised arm - Why are you so sure the money would go back in to the club? Pointless naming players and estimated costs when Ashley couldn't give a ****.

I would snap someones hand off for Enrique and throw away the £7million which wouldn't go in to getting a replacement anyway.

I just think that if they sell our only left back they will def have to buy a new one, i realise that with recent goings on it may be the case he plays forster there or something equally as ridiculous.

Just read that Enrique is basically gone, but we are also getting in a liverpool player + 7 mill, wonder firstly if it's true, and 2.) who that player could be ?

You could get Jay Spearing off us. He's got a lot of competition in the middle of the park and a loan would do him good. Don't know what your midfield situation is so you might not need him.

Might be N'Gog. I believe you need a striker and he's he's quite young and that is what you seem to be buying at the moment.

Can't think of anybody else... Unless you fancy taking Joe Cole and Poulsen off us? :p

Forgive me if I don't believe twitter. After all weren't Gervinho and N'Zog done deals according to twitter (and not just cwarr)

I would take Flanagan or Spearing + 7mill, would sort out joeys replacement, plus give us money to go after a new LB - am i too optimistic ?

Flanagan has potential but is far from Premiership standard. Gutierrez tore him to shreds last season. Good tackler though and not afraid to get stuck in. Spearing hard worker but not as good as Gosling, Tiote, Guthrie, Cabaye etc...
