THE Sky Bet Championship kick-off is just over a week away and QPR's squad numbers for the 2016/17 season are now confirmed.

New defensive recruits Jake Bidwell and Joel Lynch will wear 3 and 6 respectively, whilst Polish international midfielder Ariel Borysiuk has been handed the number 7 shirt.

Fellow summer signing Jordan Cousins will wear number 8 this season.

Elsewhere, Alex Smithies is the R's new number 1, whilst last season's Supporters' Player of the Year, Tjaronn Chery, will wear the coveted number 10 shirt.

The new Dryworld QPR kit goes on sale this Saturday when the R's host Watford in their final pre-season friendly at Loftus Road.
