It's often a confidence thing. I remember players like Lineaker and Shearer being prematurely written off because they were missing chances.
One goal off his arse could be all it takes to get him scoring again.

I'm not willing to write him off just yet.
I am not writing him off either, but he should be doing better. Confidence is extremely important, obviously, but that is a chance that should not be missed (even if you are 10 years old?)

I've given it 70 minutes and it's bloody dire, Jimmy I'm beginning to think your more useless than bloody Redknap

Polti and Gladwin on for Conor and Petrasso..how many subs can we use??? Burton two more shots on target

I would usually ignore such comments, Peter, but I am thinking along the same lines. This is really awful; mid-table as well as boring football is what this looks like.
I hope with all my heart and bollocks that I am wrong.

Jim is demanding 110% from the players, apparently. A bit optimistic, as 100% seems out of reach.

Henry & Doughy look their trying, Seb who just come is interested but it's just dire.

Jim just got cross with Gladwin, next tackle Gladwin takes out one of the Burton players who's had to go off. :emoticon-0127-lipss

Supposed to be there, but my boss is a complete Cnut , sends me on a rush job at half five, now I'm sat in a feckin layby eating pie and chips before heading to Worcester , When I see the b'stard tomorrow I am going to re- arrange his meat and two veg using my steel feckin' toe caps to do it.

It's a blessing in disguise Turkish. Buying him a pint would be more apt.

I've only been watching the second half on and off. Haven't seen us get anywhere near their box. Every forward pass has been poor and our build up play is predictable and pedestrian. I know it's only a friendly but it's hard to get excited about next season judging by what I've seen in our last three games.

We are ordinary and a top half of the table finish would mean we've punched above our weight.

Co-commentator - '' They've looked better at the back ... it's just the going forward bit that there's a problem. '' <yikes>

We're crap Col, it's like watching a conference game. Some are trying some don't know what to do, what changes?

It's driving me nuts. disorganised, poor ball control, players not supporting each other.

For ****'s sake!! Why can't we get it right?
