Liverpool confirmed that Sakho had flown home but declined to comment on the reasons behind the decision. (James Pearce)

If I were to guess it would purely be a discipline issue. Sakho is clearly the clown of the squad, even in the Alcatraz video Klopp was a bit annoyed when Sakho was goofing around and filming him.

He's probably pushed him too far about something and Klopp's snapped and said '**** off home'.

Just my guess.


I get the impression with Sakho you either love him or think he's a total cock. Probably why he'll never be our Captain.
 
This particular time Sakho should be at his best behaviour, but unfortunately (though details not known] he has disappointed
the club and its supporters alike.

We understand Liverpool left-back Brad Smith has agreed terms with Bournemouth.
His agent met the club yesterday to finalise a contract and a fee of £6m has been agreed.
Smith has flown home from the United States, where Liverpool are on their pre-season tour, for a medical.
