The club have actually done a great job selling the fringe players this summer .

It's not often we've done well in that regard. Still haven't been able to shift the big money players though, it's been the younger ones like Ibe, Smith, Allen who could still develop but moving on 3 squad players for £30m and using that money to buy a 1st teamer in Mane is good business and the way you develop as a squad <ok>

Still fully expect Mario and Benteke to leave the club.

With Higuain going to Juve, Bacca most likely to replace him at Napoli which means West Ham will be back in for benteke.

The narrative is Klopp pulled the plug on chillwell because he felt that the player didn't show enough desire to push for a move.

I understand that smith has now flown home from training camp to complete move.

I find it incredible that bournemouth didnt bother find out lfc were out of country when bidding...

...

Allen gone. Stoke becoming shortest side in prem

My estimate is a total net spend of 25.5mil now and soon will be 19.5mil

If benteke goes to palace for 30.. which wont be that low then weve finally had a tighter window.

If anyones noticed spurs except for one mad year have always spent very low net.

Allen and Imbula have the makings of a really good midfield pairing.

Wasn't too difficult to move due to first team football

Nothing against the player and totally about Klopp/LFC attitude...

That's exactly what I want us to do. We should only sign players that want to play for us. They are much more likely to run through that infamous brick wall!

Imbula looks like a really good player.

Allen... not so much.

In fairness to stoje they had a really decent team but before last january all you needed to was press hard on the 2 cms and theyd fold.

Whelan and the like... now imbula and allen give them much better options.

I agree. Chilwell had the power to reject that contract knowing lfc bid twice on him.

Negotiating a contract and letting out that its agreed = you are happy there so why should we bid any more.

I dunno but i felt it was a scouting recommendation to klopp and it suggested klopp was looking for young player. God only knows what we will change to next.

With klopp claiming to prefer training to transfers, you'd like to think he'd prefer a younger player

He was on loan at Huddersfield, managed by David Wagner, who was part of Klopp's backroom team at Dortmund. 99% sure that he would have given him feedback on him.
