Prior to Bruce emerging as favourite last time, I’m sure Kevin Blackwell was one of the tipped managers (along with Gary Megson and others), so despite the owners intransigence, we do have a recent history of dogshit managers being lumped into the situation vacant mix. I must admit, probably for the first time I ever, I have a severely reduced interest in this appointment. Maybe still in the midst of the aftermath and my feelings will probably change, but my main concern is getting rid of the owners and everything else currently feels secondary.
I suspect the Allams already have someone in mind, probably someone that an interested party has suggested after they said they did not want Bruce at the Helm,hence why talks are on hold till september so the Allams could put everything in place. Only an Opinion of course.
