Alonso is certainly livening things up. Seems like Lewis was compromised by Alonso but that might create a bit of fun at first corner.
I assume you're talking about Nico. The yellow flags where removed before he got there. Alonso spun his car back around and drove away when there was a gap in the traffic.
Nico has said he lifted for the flags and his sector time was slower than before, so should be okay if there was any issue with the stewards about it.
You're wrong by the way, the double yellows were being waved when he was going through the sector. Alonso had obviously moved but they all push a fine line of how much to slow down during flagged periods.
Just read this on thejudge13 re Nico's lap 'A brief lift for the double waved yellows and Rosberg stayed on it still managing to take S2 purple, and then across the line in P1, with a 1:19.965 a tenth and a half up on Lewis.'
I thought the waved yellows were in sector 2, am I wrong in that?
I was under the impression that if you set your best time in a sector with waved yellows the lap would be deleted plus a possible reprimand?
If Charlie and co let drivers set purple sectors under waved yellows what is the point of waved yellows?

Quite fun as weather played a part. Slight let down was that Q3 last fast lap was spoilt for a few by Alonso spinning and waved yellows. Q2 was good to watch as it was all about being in right place at right time.

There's some drama over a bizarre loophole in the 107% rule.
Everyone knows that the rule allows for exceptions based on circumstance (like the weather today), but the letter of the law says that in the case of these exceptions the driver will be allowed to start at the back of the grid.
This is an issue because quite a lot of drivers missed the 107% in Q1 and still made it to Q2. All of them, technically, require and exception to be allowed to start and therefore should be sent to the back of the grid. This includes both Red Bull drivers.
If there's any common sense the stewards will just ignore it, but this is F1.

Looks like he was very lucky. Lewis looking for clarification on the lift off when waved yellow.
Once again FIA are making a mockery of the Waved Yellow Flags. I would say they will regret not enforcing waved yellows when someone gets killed. Unfortunately that has already happened!!!!
OK so it's good for the sport to not have Lewis on pole but not at the expense of putting marshals and drivers at more risk under waved yellows.
I think Jules's family are quite right in taking FIA to court. If the custom an practice of allowing drivers to lift slightly on waved yellows had not been allowed Jules may have still been alive. Now they are further eroding any safety waved yellows created.
