I'm afraid we have a proportion of ****ish fans who consciously or unconsciously absorb and then recycle the prejudices and opinions of the London football media voices. He's played for City, has good local connections, managed in 3 countries at a high level and managed England. Clearly not good enough for us. Oh, I forgot. Actually, thinking about it, if City have rubished the report, it's almost certainly true, they lie about everything. Lump on McClaren to be in charge by next weekend.
What's more important than who it is, is the fact who ever comes in will he have to run the transfer business on a shoe string. simple fact if so were down before the season kicks off, managers cant run teams in the premier league on free transfers and loans don't care who they are.
