    Didn't last long...

Hull City have dismissed our understanding Steve McClaren is considered to replace Steve Bruce. They say he's not on their shortlist. #hcafc

Best of luck to him, he might even get some money to spend, but he's hardly worth the effort they went to to force Brucie out without having the guts to actually sack him.

Steve rang up Deano yesterday to find out whether the vacancy was available. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as our new manager. I'd love Martinez but can't imagine he'd want it.

I'm afraid we have a proportion of ****ish fans who consciously or unconsciously absorb and then recycle the prejudices and opinions of the London football media voices.
He's played for City, has good local connections, managed in 3 countries at a high level and managed England.
Clearly not good enough for us.
Oh, I forgot. He was found guilty in the court of public opinion of using an umbrella at Wembley in heavy rain.

Actually, thinking about it, if City have rubished the report, it's almost certainly true, they lie about everything.

Lump on McClaren to be in charge by next weekend. <ok>

What's more important than who it is, is the fact who ever comes in will he have to run the transfer business on a shoe string. simple fact if so were down before the season kicks off, managers cant run teams in the premier league on free transfers and loans don't care who they are.

    Phelan.

Cheap option. If we don't have cash does anyone think we will spend on a manager?!
