Of course not, however its quite difficult to question a persons assessment of player performance when your only experience of the game is whats in their report. You can take it at face value and assume its generous based on preconceived notions of bias however until you've seen it with your own eyes its nothing but speculation and accusations.
Depends which definition of face value your applying. Here I was using at as noun to describe its apparent worth, you are referring to the idiom of accepting something without question, both are valid. Although granted it probably wasn't the clearest phrase to use.
8/10 for entertainment 8/10 for atmosphere Caught a bit a of commentary on HKCR last night and you could someone rustling a sweet wrapper 10 rows down from the commentary box
Thought it was well-known that the online version is the abridged version only? Seems not. I enjoyed today's issue with that banned City fan prosecuted for breaking 5 beerglasses when he slammed down his half empty glass on a table in the George, corner of Walton st . Ordered to pay £10 yes that's right I said £10 compo, for the glasses. Lengthy justification from the HDM (Humbs Police really) as to how dangerous this kid is. It seems he has been involved in several incidents at City games, but strangely only arrested/charged once.
I informed Lambo of that a while back. But, as usual, he is too busy trying to score points and make out others are wrong to notice. But, not having bought the HDM for years, he knows more about the contents than those that do. Expect some facile evasion in the near future.
Funny how rugby fans in Hull never get banning orders. Or even arrested despite numerous incidents which are mentioned on rugby forums but ignored by the HDM.
If I was the beak, I would be asking the CPS why I am having to waste my time on cases where the damage is £10.
**** me, you're a desperately sad man, I only asked if they seriously had atmosphere ratings because I';d never seen one. I'm desperately sorry if I upset you, whatever the **** it says or doesn't say in the HDM today.
I don't think its funny, its a real shame that the idiots are still allowed to attend and ruin it for others. That gobshite in the paper deserved his banning order, its just unfortunate that his rugby equivalent can't receive the same punishment. Although its something to take up with the CPS not Humberside Police or the HDM.
Just sounds like some people's dislike for everything Rugby League eats away at them so much bordering on obsessive.. Sad really.
So someone spills a pint in a pub and it ends up in court ? I was in a place the other day when a drunk staggered into a table and knocked a whole table of drinks over, and a couple of glasses smashed on the floor. No police involvement though. Perhaps because a singer was the entertainment and not a football game.
You have on more than one occasion you had never seen them, thus implying that those asserting they had were mistaken. I had even told you on a previous occasion that the online version of the HDM was not the same as the printed one but still you disputed it. The desperately sad man is the one who quibbles and indulges in point scoring exercises without checking his facts first and who refuses to ever acknowledge he was wrong.
If the Humberside Police do nothing then the CPS can't. Numerous instances of ejections at rugby not ending up with any further action, flares set off, bottles thrown at fans and opposing players. I once rang the HDM some time ago and ssked why they had it on the front page that 3 City fans had been ejected but nothing about a fight at St Helens involving glassings or FC fans escorted out of Bradford after smashing a pub up following a defeat. Their reply was that their readers were interested in reading about football violence but not trouble at rugby. Those incidents would have been front page and probably gone on for days if they had involved City. Even when they acknowledge that coaches have been bricked, as happened more than once to both Leeds and Wigan coaches there is normally something about it being difficult to link it to FC fans as it happened away from the stadium (strange as anything that happens within 10 miles of the KC when City play is supposedly football related) and it could have been Vity fans with nothing to do.
Just a t this moment, I don't give a flying **** about your petty arguments or your opinion on anything.
