Pretty much says it all. Higuian would be great but the fees Napoli are talking are totally crazy when you consider he could've been bought for £30 million 2-3 Seasons ago. Really don't think Icardi is the kind of player we need. Lacazette is a decent option but I don't think he's the finished article yet.

Personally would like to see us grab an established proven goalscorer to get the best out of Ozil and Cazorla.

Vardy ****ed us around to get a better contract tbf, don't think he ever had any thoughts of leaving

Apparently we're closing in on a £2m deal for 20-year old Bolton defender Rob Holding. He was voted their Player of the Season apparently and there were quite a few clubs interested in him.

Normally, I would have no qualms with this type of signing provided that we reinforce the positions that we need to. But so far, and assuming this deal even goes through, two of the three signings we've had are 'ones for the future'.

I really, really am hoping that Wenger has a proper signing or two lined up because the season starts in less than a month and we don't look any closer to strengthening the areas that we need to. I'm not holding my breath though. It feels like we've been here before one too many times...

We don't sign more than one big money player a summer. I think we will get another defender and that's it. Chuba Akpom will be kept on to do an Iwobi. Theo will suddenly conjure up the spirit TH14 and feed us (me) humble pie. Wenger will prove us all to be whiny little ****s
