I would like to have gone to this friendly, so I thought I will get tickets for Watford instead but we don't land to very late in Birmingham the night before so won't be able to get there <wah>

Yes. May be later in August unless I can sneak down first week of August. I had my first game for a while last Monday... Horrendous winds and horrendous score. Typical FLT golf. Two 3s and two 10s :(

I know his dad was good but never really saw him race as F1 is not big in the US and it was slightly before my time.

Tomas Scheckter drove IndyCar in the US, though. Kind of your stereotypical colorful driver. Great talent, good looking, drove fast, got in too many wrecks, said a lot of colorful things that no doubt annoyed his sponsors . Critics say he'd have been great if he'd driven less aggressively and played the PR game, fans say his craziness was what made him good, and him not being PC was what hurt his career because he couldn't get in a good car.

Definitely. At the mo I'm around all August, so we should be able to arrange something.

I'm ok with that it's lying Dutchman stuff that winds me up. I've got some games recorded from last season and have tried to ignore him as it spoils the game.

Yes, forgot to add that there were also shots of Koeman in between the goals. Surprises me how much it annoys. It's nowhere near as unpleasant as seeing the Pochettino/Lambert/Lallana era stuff, which I largely can't watch at all, but I got a zap of disappointment which surprised me.

Funnily enough, in the last 12 months [it appears, because I regularly look at several] Saints have revamped many of the earlier matches from 2009 onwards, expanding the highlights with multiple views of goals whilst expanding the commentaries. Well worth a look back. Part of a Flashback series, here's a typical, painless one. You can tell this has been edited anew as Saints have added in-fills of different quality video and crowd reactions. Anyway, enjoy a non-3-1 scoreline ;) :
