For no apparent reason?

Dennis Irwin for me. No idea why, just made me cringe.

Phil Neville runs him a close 2nd but Irwin takes the crown.

Both bloody good players.

Always thought Rodney Marsh was an arrogant twat.. Tommy Smith from Liverpool was just a thug who I also couldn't stand..

Charlie Adam. If he played for us I'd love him. But he doesn't so I hate him. He's got those qualities that are loved by their own but hated by everyone else. Bet a lot have same feelings for Catts.

Yep. But maybe cos he is snidy. Good player mind.

- great striker but just downright wrong in so many ways.

From a Sunderland point of view the one player who I disliked was Dickie Ord. That was because him and a few other players were doing a meet the fans day at the Leisure Centre, and my eldest lad who was about 3 at the time sang the "Who needs Cantona when we've got Dickie Ord" song to him, to which he replied.."Actually my name is Richard and I don't like being called Dickie...Kevin Ball who was next to him must have read the pure anger on my face, and stepped in to say that was great son, and had a quiet word in my ear saying that he would have a word to Ord about this..

Yeah he didn't like me either when I was in the executive box smoking my cigars and slightly under the weather for the drink he came in and was very happy
