Why do France get so much of this ****, is it because they have more HG terrorists than others, because they banned the Burka? Is their security/intelligence worse than other country's or have they done something more terrible than others to invite this type of thing. I really feel for the French nation, they have been hit by so much in such a short time, what do the terrorists think they will gain from this carnage.
Way too early to tell what this latest attack is about. There has been a generation of "ghetto" immigrant underclass from North Africa, typically Algeria who seem diseffected and marginalised, often perceived to be treated as second-class citizens. That can breed resentment and this can play into the hands of those willing to exploit it. What surprises me is that none of this happened during the Euros. Which makes me think this incident could be a one-off nutjob rather than any coordinated terrorist attack.. The nature of it seems like some screwball who may have just flipped because it was a hot day and he had one too many lemon phosphates!
My thinking is leaning that way at the moment, no mention of any suicide devise or anything and just one lone murderer, not really terrorist MO.

More has to be done to stop this, I'm sure that with the resources available these incidents are preventable if the powers that be want to spend the money that is.
This is not a pop at any particular faith or religion, but at extremists, nutters, whatever you want to call them. These fervently 'religious' people always seem to just know what God wants. With depressing Invariability, "What God wants" is for them to kill as many people who don't believe what they believe as possible!
Sure, but in the main their (religious nut jobs) victims are of the same religion, just not their particular cess-pit brand of it.
