I held my breathe every time the ball went in the box. I can't be doing with that every game until McGregor's back!
Then have more faith in him. We should be past the 'he made a few mistakes ' stage now, he will be fine.
It's hard to have faith in a keeper that quite clearly second guesses himself! I'd have more faith in a more competent keeper.
I think the club should look at McGregor's absence as an opportunity to acquire a long term keeper for the club. At McG's age an injury like this could see him return as a much les able player, solid bench player but not 1st choice Premier League. sven ulriech is bayerns reserve gk and looks really good and whilst our budget looks modest he didnt play much last season behind neuer. an ambitious bid could turn his head if he fancies a bit of first team footy. Failing that a loan bid to plug the gap. I really think its the most important position to fill right now.
Naturally Smoggo. Slow and steady wins the race. You will note when we dismantled you easily 3-0 at our place we have a decent core of PL standard players.
We'll see players coming in. That squad should never have been relegated is probably closer to the truth. Except for a simply amazing run by Leicester, which they maintained all of last season (look what happened) we'd have probably stayed up.
It doesn't, because Dawson, Diame, Hernandez and Snodgrass missed most of the season between them. The money hasn't gone anywhere, we just haven't spent it yet. It's only July ffs, we are in talks with players now but the league doesn't start for a month and that's loads of time.
Love this bit, Aminu, who is wanted by Premier League side Hull City, played the entire duration and was even booked in the 41st minute As if being booked was an achievement!
I hold my breath whenever McGregor has to save a 25 yard or more free-kick because he's **** at long-range shot-stopping.
The worst part is many on here want to recreate that side further by resigning those that left after we were relegated...
