TARGETS: Bournemouth are planning a double swoop
The Cherries are prepared to splash £15m to boost the back line with the pair – who both tick Howe’s boxes of being home grown and have top flight experience.
Howe has only two senior centre backs in his squad after releasing Sylvain Distin and allowing skipper Tommy Elphick join Aston Villa.
QPR are keen to dump 24-year-old Caulker’s £40,000 wages off their books – having not played in blue and white hoops since May
The England international snubbed a move to the Cherries last summer, instead picking south coast neighbours Southampton – where he flopped and had his season loan cut short.
He was also close to a January move to Dean Court but Liverpool stole in to grab a six-month stint.

Solves a number of problems, but does it create more?
Would be just typical if the pair go and Bournemouth become a most miserly defence in PL. Couldn't happen, could it?
