    That would've been much funnier if you'd said:

    This makes a farce of the Champions League. What is a team from a nation with a joke of a league even doing in this elite competition?
    Lincoln Red Imps shouldn't have been in it either.

    They won their nation's top division.

    Ergo, as a member of UEFA, they enter the Champions League at the stage that their coefficient grants them. All members are allowed at least one team in the competition.

    It's not like they're in the group stages. They came into the tournament at the earliest possible stage, just to make the playoffs they have to win 3 games against technically better opposition.


    This was also only the first leg. Celtic could easily comfortably win the second leg.
