Guaranteed three EFL Trophy games will see a lot of involvement from U21s early season - I certainly expect to see him there, hopefully some others will make the grade too. Performing well in those could really help open up that path to the first team, I think.

I have no idea about the players in the u21s but would guess at Stephens and one or two others at being ready to step up?

I don't know much about them either, but EFL Trophy rules mean that invited clubs (i.e. us) have to play at least 6 U21s in the starting 11, so we'll see quite a few of them for at least the three group games.
 
We lost our manager, 3 first choice players and stek, yet I think we are in a better place than this time last year. Morgan has finally been replaced, we have 3 other dm that will cover the loss of Vic, charlie was bought into cover for Pelle, Mane on his day is irreplaceable but he did not have too many of those, Redmond a little less flair but hopefully more consistent, Cedric has shown that he can be a very good rb. If gaz is not up to it then a steady no2 keeper and icing on the cake would be a new striker, other than that we have youngsters that can be blooded at RB,CB,DM,AM and striker

I assume we will be in the market for another AM/ST to cover the Mane/Pelle void.
