Sounds like Claude is having a good look at the youngsters.

And that's the way to do it. He can't come in and listen to the fans or the previous manager who may think the youngsters aren't good enough, he needs to decide for himself. Make the assessment and then go back to Les, tell him who he thinks could come involved the quickest and then decide which of the list of targets we should sign.
And as Hunter said at the end "It's not just about now but the future".
Hopefully those who are worrying about us going too much for youth, will listen to those comments and stopbed wettinggetting so upset over comments read in newspaper articles.

I think this lad has got bags of talent. He's a RB. Hope to see him break through soon.
He was playing centre back for the u21s last season
Anyone know who the 8 U21 players going to America are?
No, those I've seen in training clips;
Alfie Jones
Olufela Olomola
Jake Hesketh
Josh Sims
Richard Bakary
Marcus Barnes
Harry Lewis
But then there is Isgrove, Stephens, Gallagher, Reed, Turnbull, McQueen - but he might consider these guys as more senior
I should of just said no or nothing at all lol
I've not come across Richard Bakary or Harry Lewis - what are their positions?
There's EFL Trophy (formerly the JPT) games for the U21s as well this year, I suspect we may see that mid-field there for a couple of games at least, as they've changed the format to include group stages (see the general football thread for more on those games).With more games this year, and a manager willing to play youth, there are exciting times ahead.
Wouldn't mind seeing a midfield of ;
Romeu
JWP Reed
at some point, maybe in one of the cups.

We won't likely see Jose or Cedric until August. Wonder if they will be fit for the first game.
