According to French media we are close to signing Adam Nagy of Hungary.

However, Puel apparently has put the transfer on hold for the time being.

He looks alright, from what I've seen this tournament plays the Clasie role. Commentators were pronouncing it Nodge if I remember correctly, whether that's right or not I couldn't tell you. Young though.

And a soft g.

Now I am confused. You say large with a hard "g" in Norf London? Bloody hell. No wonder when I lived in Crystal Palace I couldn't understand the buggers from north of the river.

Is this a tad premature this thread? Has Claude just come in and said that 'e is not 'appy wiz ze lad? Anyone know anything?

I know how it's pronounced, after all we're neighbours with Hungary. :D gy in Nagy is pronounced like dge in english words like badge, and na is pronunced like na(a). Something close to the word nudge.

I think he played in the Hungarian League? Plays as either a CM/CDM. 21 years old. Haven't seen much of him, he's been sought after by quite a few European clubs this Summer.
Cheers. We need a DM, but with reed lacking experience I was hoping for a more established player.

Technically gifted, and more of a Kante-style DM who picks off stray balls and initiates counterattacks than a Wanyamian brick wall. Looked great for Hungary; it would be a huge step up, but there should be more than enough room in midfield for both Reed and Nagy, if he signs.
